Critters 3 is a 1991 American science fiction comedy horror film and is the third installment of the Critters franchise, directed by Kristine Peterson, and is also Leonardo DiCaprio's film debut. Cary Elwes mentioned on the commentary for the uncut edition DVD of Saw 3D that he passed on the role of Josh. It was shot simultaneously with its sequel, Critters 4. Unlike the first two films, it does not take place in the town of Grover's Bend.
