David John Busst is an English football coach and former professional player who played at center-back from 1991 to 1996. After starting his career with a non-League Moor Green, he moved on to to Coventry City, Premier League football team, in August 1992. Having made more than 50 appearances for the Sky Blues, he broke his leg during a match against Manchester United in 1996, which ended his career. His injury is often considered the most terrible in Premier League history to date. He joined the board after retiring with Solihull Borough in 2001, and then took over Evesham United. He retired in 2008 as a defender for Highgate United.
