Dean Simon, also known as Dean Malenko, is a retired American professional wrestler. He has now signed with All Elite Wrestling as a premium producer. He was best known during his time with Extreme Wrestling Championship and World Championship Wrestling. He is also known for his time with the World Federation of Wrestling as a wrestler and field officer and New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Although he has never been a world champion, Malenko has achieved championship success in ECW, WCW and WWF, winning a total of 11 trophies between the three organizations. Pro Wrestling Illustrated named Malenko the number 1 wrestler in the world in 1997, and he was inducted into the Hardcore Hall of Fame in 2015. Five-time WWE world champion Daniel Bryan said "the digital guy. One of him, growing up, was Dean Malenko. After retiring, he worked as a road curator for WWE for 18 years from 2001 to 2019
