Jeffrey Thomas Porcaro is an American drummer, musician and record producer. He's best known for his work with the rock band Toto, but he's one of the most recorded musicians, working on hundreds of albums and thousands of sessions. While already a well-known studio player in the 1970s, he became famous in the United States as a drummer on Steely Dan's Katy Lied album. AllMusic called him "the most famous studio drummer in the rock industry from the mid-70s to the early 90s" and said that "it's no exaggeration to say that the sound of pop / percussion.
