Morse's greatest fame dates back to the 1920s and early 1930s as a torchlight singer, although her career began around 1917 and continued until her death in 1954. Morse is known for her powerful voice. and deep and her vocal range that often makes her fail. She has a powerful voice and one of her hallmarks is her unique yodeling style. Recording over 200 songs during her career, Morse was one of the most recorded female singers of the 1920s. She has also been moderately successful as an actress on the Broadway stage. However, his life and career was ruined by alcoholism. Morse's group, the Blue Grass Boys, has no connection to their later name in the music of Bill Monroe or bluegrass. In 2014, Morse's "If You Want the Rainbow" interpretation was used in an episode of the HBO Boardwalk Empire series.
