Grossman's research focuses on the analysis of stock market information, company structure, asset rights and optimal dynamic risk management. He has published extensively in leading economic and business journals including the American Journal of Economics, Journal of Econometrics, Econometrics, and Financial Magazines. His research in macroeconomics, finance and risk management has earned him many awards. Grossman is currently the Chairman and CEO of QFS Asset Management, a subsidiary he founded in 1988. QFS Asset Management closed its sole hedge fund in January 2014 .
