Shawn Michael Redhage is a former Australian American professional basketball player who is known for playing 12 seasons for the National Basketball League's Perth Wildcats. He played four years of college basketball for the Arizona State Sun Devils before moving to Australia in 2004 to play professionally. After his stint at SEABL and with the New Zealand Breakers, Redhage joined the Wildcats in 2005 and has become one of the franchise's all-time greats. During a illustrious career, Redhage cemented its place in NBL history with a number of awards, having won four NBL titles by playing for seven All-NBL teams and winning the Gordon Ellis Medal as Perth Wildcats' most valuable player six times. He was also the captain of the team from 2009 to 2013. Known as the "The Scorer Machine", Redhage spent his early years in the NBL as an inside force before stands out for his ability to reverse as his career progresses.
