Stephen Gary Patrick is a former professional Canadian ice hockey player. He was included in the first round, 20th final, by the Buffalo Sabers in the 1980 NHL Draft. Patrick played 250 matches of the National Hockey League against Sabers, New York Rangers and Quebec Nordiques from 1980 to 1986. On December 6, 1984, Sabers traded Patrick and Jim Wiemer for the New York Rangers in exchange for Chris Renaud and Dave Maloney. His brother is former Kootenay Ice player and current head coach James Patrick, and their father Stephen Patrick played for Winnipeg Blue Bombers and served in the Manitoba legislature. Patrick's son, Nolan, was ranked second in Draft NHL 2017 and played for the Philadelphia Flyers.
