He is a member of the Jubilate Circle and was previously Professor of English Literature at John Abbott College. He has spent most of his life in the Montreal area and currently lives in Hudson, Quebec. Solway is known for her work as both a poet, essayist and teacher, as well as for her argumentative frankness, especially against Islam and the defense of Zionism, George W. Bush and the war on terror. He has contributed to political commentaries on the conservative WorldNetDaily and PJ Media websites. For inspiration, he coined a Greek poet named Andreas Karavis as an acronym, whose work was published in a clear translation.
