Antonio Cárdenas is an American politician who has served as the United States representative for the 29th Congressional District of California since January 2013. Cárdenas was previously a member of the Los Angeles City Council, representing the Sixth District Council, which covers parts of the northeast of the San Fernando Valley. , including the communities of Arleta, Pacoima, Sun Valley, North Hollywood, Panorama City, Van Nuys, and Lake Balboa. Cárdenas has been elected to Congress from the State of California for three consecutive terms and chairs the budget committee.
