Among his most famous pieces are All My Sons, The Death of a Vendor, The Death and Perspective from the bridge. He wrote several film scripts and was best known for his work on The Misfits. The TV series Death of a Salesman is on the shortlist of the best American plays of the 20th century. Miller often appears in the public eye, especially in the late 1940s, 1950s and early years. 1960. During this time, he received the Pulitzer Prize for theater, testified before the Commission on Non-American Operations and married Marilyn Monroe. In 1980 Miller received the St. Literature Prize. Louis from the Saint Louis University Libraries Association.
