Malcolm Norman Meninga is the head coach of the Australian national team and a former rugby player with the Australian Rugby Federation. Meninga has been considered by many to be one of the best in the history of the game. He has had a long career in Australia and England, playing mainly in midfield, but can also winger. After his retirement, Meninga enjoyed great success as a coach and is currently the head coach of Australia. Meninga broke many rugby league records during her career. He retired with the most appearances in Australian national team history and went on to become the top goalscorer in the football history of the state. Since then, he has been named a Member of the Order of Australia, was introduced to the Hall of Fame of the Australian Rugby League and also included in the Century Team of Queensland and Australia. Meninga is the only player in history to be selected to participate in four Kangaroo Tours.
