Sándor Csoma de Kőrös is a Hungarian literary linguist and Orientalist, author of the first Tibetan-English grammar book and dictionary. His name is Phyi-glin-gi-grwa-pa in Tibetan, meaning "foreign disciple", and was declared by the Japanese as bosatsu or bodhisattva in 1933. He was born in Krös, Duchy of Transylvania. Her date of birth is often thought to be April 4, although it is in fact her baptismal date and her birth year is contested by some authors who place it in 1787 or 1788 rather than 1784. The Magyar ethnic group, the Széilities, to which he belongs, thinks he comes from a branch of the Huns Attila, settled in Transylvania in the 5th century. Hoping to study the claim and find out where the Széranty and Magyars came from by studying linguistic relations, he left for Asia in 1820 and spent his life studying Tibetan languages ​​and Buddhist philosophy.
