Thomas Alfred Maddox is a former defender of American football who has played at the National Football Federation for nine seasons, most notably with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also played a season for the New Jersey Red Dogs of the Arena Football League and the XFL's Los Angeles Xtreme. In the XFL, Maddox became the sole MVP of the tournament while leading Xtreme to victory in its sole championship. Maddox played college football at UCLA and was selected by the Denver Broncos in the first round of the 1992 NFL Draft. His first four seasons with the Broncos, Los Angeles Rams and New York Giants were Considering the review time. Limited match and minimal success, leading to his withdrawal from the NFL in 1997. Maddox became an insurance agent before pursuing a professional return to AFL and XFL between 2000 and 2001. His MVP season the following season saw Maddox lead the league in passing and touching while being the only midfielder to start all 10 games of the regular season.
