Jennie Lynn Finch Daigle is an American athlete and Olympic medalist, two-time retired All-Star professional right-handed softball pitcher from La Mirada, Calif. She pitched for the Arizona Wildcats, the US National Softball Team and the Chicago Bandits. Finch won the 2001 Women's World Championship and helped Team America win a gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics and a silver medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Time magazine describes her as the most famous softball athlete in history. In 2010, Finch retired from softball to focus on his family. In August 2011, she started working at ESPN as a black commentator for National Pro Fastpitch and college softball games. Finch is ranked in multiple categories for the Wildcats in the Pac-12 and NCAA Division I conferences, where she was named No. 2 University's top softball player. National Pro Fastpitch at WHIP and is the American Softball Fame Hall of Fame Inductor.
