James McMillan III is an American political activist, longtime candidate and Vietnam War veteran. McMillan is best known as the founder of Rent Is Too Damage High, a New York-based political party. McMillan has run at least six times since 1993, most notably in the New York presidential election in 2010. He announced in December 2010 that he would run in the US presidential election. Ky 2012 as a Republican. He did not appear on the ballot in any state and suspended his election campaign to return to the Poor Party for Rent and run for New York City mayor in the 2013 election. He attempted to run for office again. 2014 elections, but he did not vote. McMillan announced the Republican presidential candidacy in the 2016 election, but withdrew from the campaign on December 9, 2015 and announced his retirement from politics. He then endorsed Republican candidate Donald Trump.
