Mallam Nuhu Ribadu mni is a former Nigerian police officer and politician, former chairman of the Oil Revenue Task Force and former Nigerian government anti-corruption official. He is the pioneering executive chairman of the Nigerian Commission on Economic and Financial Crime, the government commission dedicated to fighting corruption and fraud. In April 2009, he became a guest member of the Center for Global Development. He lived in exile until 2010 when he returned to Nigeria and announced his intention to run for President of Nigeria on the Nigeria Action Congress platform. On Friday January 14, 2011, Nuhu Ribadu was approved as ACN's presidential candidate. In August 2014, he joined the ruling PDP party with the intention of running for governor of Adamawa state in northeastern Nigeria.
