Andrew Gerard Slack is a former Australian rugby union player and national representative who led the Wallabies in 19 test matches between 1984 and 1987. 133 of his appearances for Queensland from 1975 to 1987 was the state record until Mark Connors was defeated in 2006. He made a total of 87 appearances for Australia between 1978 and 1987, having won 39 international caps. He has scored 10 times and is the captain of Australia a total of 34 times. He was the captain of the 1984 Wallabies tour, the feat of the Grand Slam.
