Charles Gardner Radbourn, nicknamed "Old Hoss", is an American professional baseball pitcher who played 12 seasons in Major League Baseball. He played for Buffalo, Providence, Boston, Boston and Cincinnati. Born in New York and raised in Illinois, Radbourn played semi-professional and minor league baseball before making his big league debut for Buffalo in 1880.
