Chris Petersen
Christopher Scott Petersen is an American football coach who was most recently a head coach at the University of Washington. Served as a head coach for eight seasons at Boise State University, Petersen guided the Broncos to two BCS championships: Fiesta Bowls 2007 and 2010. He was the first to twice win the Paul "Bear" Bryant Award., Qu 'he won in 2006 and 2009. Petersen also won Bobby Dodd's Coach of the Year award in 2010. In Washington, Petersen led the Huskies to the college football knockout round in 2016 but lost to Alabama in the Peach Bowl. Petersen announced his resignation on December 2, 2019, with effect after the team's bowling match.
