Corina Chiriac is a Romanian singer, songwriter, lyricist, television producer and actress. She was one of the most successful Romanian singers of the 1970s and 1980s. So far, she has recorded over 500 songs and performed in many variety shows on Romanian TV. She toured extensively in Eastern Europe in the 1970s and early 1980s. She graduated from the National Theater Academy in 1972. She is the daughter of Romanian composer Mircea Chiriac. From 1988 to 1994, she lived in America. Due to her popularity in Romania, she received an offer from Walt Disney Pictures and joined Ursula in 1994 and 2005 for the Romanian version of the film, The Little Mermaid.
