Along with Side Effects, Smith also became the first Canadian country artist of the Nielsen BDS era to rank four consecutive No.1 singles from one album, an achievement that he would then lead with his next album, Timeless. Smith released his first solo country music album, Jumped Right In, on May 22, 2012. Since then, the album has sold more than 100,000 digital singles and created five singles on the Canadian Hot 100. Jumped Right In has been nominated as the country album of the 2013 Juno Awards. At the end of 2012, Mediabase named Dallas Smith the most-played Canadian national show and ranked eighth overall.
