Charles Edward Macauley is a professional basketball player. His gaming nickname is "Easy Ed". Macauley spent her preparatory days at St. Petersburg High School. Louis Bombers, Boston Celtics and St. Louis Hawks. Macauley was named NBA First All-Star MVP and was named to the NBA All-NBA First Team three consecutive seasons. He was named to the second All-NBA team once, in 1953–54 - the same season, he led the league in terms of on-field goal ratio. The Macauley business in St. Petersburg Louis brought Bill Russell to the Celtics. In two years coaching with the Hawks, he led them to hit a record 89–48, winning 9–11 in the knockout rounds. After retiring, he became the sporting director of KTVI, then the ABC subsidiary in his hometown of Saint-Louis.
