Elgin Gay Baylor is an American professional basketball player, coach and operator. He has played 14 seasons as a National Basketball Association striker for the Minneapolis / Los Angeles Lakers, appearing in eight NBA Finals games. Baylor is a talented shooter, powerful counter-attacker and master passer, who is best known for his iconic hangman jump. First drafted in 1958, NBA Rookie of 1959, 11 times NBA All-Star champion and 10 times member of the All-NBA first team, he is considered one of the outstanding players. Best of all time greatest gamer game. In 1977, Baylor was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Baylor spent 22 years as general manager of the Los Angeles Clippers. He won the NBA Moderator of the Year award in 2006. Two years later, he was relinquished by the Clippers as manager just before the start of the 2008-09 season.
