Eric Guggenheim is an American screenwriter. He graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in 1995. Two years later, he sold the screenplay, Trim, to Fox 2000 at the age of 23. Then he wrote an unreleased television series for Warner Bros. and an hour-long TV series pilot for the US Network. In 2004, Guggenheim wrote the movie Miracle. Guggenheim is currently a writer, executive producer and co-presenter for the CBS Hawaii series Five-0 and Magnum P.I., who was announced as the host after co-creator Peter Lenkov was fired by CBS. Before that, he spent four seasons as a writer for the NBC Parenthood series. His brothers were screenwriters Marc Guggenheim and David Guggenheim. His family is Jewish.
