Olufunmilola Aduke Iyanda, better known as Funmi Iyanda, is a Nigerian talk show host, broadcaster, journalist, and blogger. She produced and hosted a talk show, New Dawn with Funmi, which aired on the national network for over eight years. Funmi is the CEO of Ignite Media. In 2011 Funmi Iyanda was honored for her web series by the World Economic Forum and was named one of Forbes "20 Youngest Power Women in Africa".

Nigerian television host and journalist who is best known for her work hosting the talk show New Dawn with Funmi. She is also known for being the CEO of Ignite Media which focuses on content creation throughout the Lagos area.
She attended the University of Ibadan where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Geography. She then ventured into television when she started working as a host on the show Good Morning Nigeria. She gained further attention in 2000 when she started hosting the New Dawn program.
She was honored as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2011 and was also featured on the Forbes 20 Youngest Power Women in Africa list that same year.
She was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria but had a father from Ogbomoso and a mother from Ijebu-Ode.
She was honored by then Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola in 2012 for her work in gender advocacy including for organizing a trek up Mount Killimanjaro.
