Gemma Pranita is a Thai-Australian actress. Pranita was encouraged by her drama teacher to join the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, and from 1999-2003, she participated nationally at the Shakespeare Globe Association's annual Shakespeare Festival. Pranita founded a theater company called Cry Havoc! with her best friend in 2006. After graduating from WAAPA, Pranita joined the Bell Shakespeare Drama Company. She also has roles in movies, Crush and Resistance. In September 2010, Pranita joined the cast of the Australian opera Neighbors as Jade Mitchell. She left the soap play in August 2012 and took on the role of Jade on March 1, 2019.
