Iajuddin Ahmed is President of Bangladesh, serving from September 6, 2002 to February 12, 2009. From late October 2006 to January 2007, he was also the Chief Advisor to the Care Government. With a doctorate in soil science, Ahmed became a full professor at Dhaka University and dean of the faculty.
