James William Napier Robertson is a New Zealand writer, director, actor and producer who wrote and directed the 2009 I'm Not Harry Jenson and the 2014 The Dark Horse, with the film for which he won the Best Director award, for Best Screenplay and Best Film Award at the 2014 New Zealand Film Awards, and has been declared by New Zealand critics as "one of the best New Zealand films ever made" in the United States, it is above all known for his role as Connor McKnight in Power Rangers Dino Thunder. He also wrote and directed two episodes of the award-winning crime drama Logie Romper Stomper, and appeared earlier in his acting career in Shakespearean theater and in several television productions. Includes The Tribe and Being Eve, who describe his acting work as "funding his first films".
