Jung Ho-seok, better known by his stage name J-Hope. In 2013, J-Hope made his debut as a member of the South Korean BTS, managed under Big Hit Entertainment. J-Hope released his first solo mixtape, Hope World, worldwide on March 1, 2018. The album was met with a positive reception. His debut at number 63 made him the highest charting solo Korean artist on the Billboard 200 at the time of the mixtape's release. In September 27 2019, he released his song "Chicken Noodle Soup" featuring Becky G.

Born Jung Hoseok, he is a member of Kpop group Bangtan Boys aka BTS. In 2014, his band released an album titled Wake Up and a recording titled Dark & Wild. In 2017, they became the first Kpop group to win a Billboard award.
He joined the other six members of the group to debut in June of 2013, with their first title song "No More Dream."
He and the Bangtan Boys were named New Artist of the Year at the 2013 MelOn Music Awards, 2013 Golden Disk Awards, 2014 Seoul Music Awards, and 2014 Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards.
He has a sister named Mejiwoo who has grown popular on Instagram.
He is joined by Kim Taehyung in the group Bangtan Boys.
