Kirk Thomas Cameron is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Mike Seaver in ABC sitcom Growing Pains, in which he has been nominated for two Golden Globe Awards. As a child actor, Cameron made several television and film appearances throughout the 1980s and 1990s, including films Like Father Like Son and Listen to Me. In the 2000s he played Cameron " Buck "Williams in the Left Behind series and Caleb Holt in the Fireproof television series. His 2014 film, Saving Christmas, received critical acclaim and entered IMDb's Top 100 a month after its theatrical release. Cameron is also an active Protestant Christian who collaborated with Ray Comfort in the ministry of The Way of the Master and co-founded the Firefly Foundation with his wife, actress Chelsea Noble.
