LaVar Christopher Ball is an American businessman and former professional football player. He is the father of three basketball players: New Orleans Pelicans point guard Lonzo, Charlotte Hornets point guard LaMelo and shooting guard LiAngelo. Ball is co-founder and CEO of sportswear company Big Baller Brand and founder of the Children's Basketball Association. Ball played basketball and American football while still in Canoga Park High School, before playing college basketball for West Los Angeles College, Washington State, and Los Angeles State. He also played football at Long Beach City College for one season. He had a brief professional career coming to a near end to the World Football Federation's London Monarchs, where he had a total of 28 return turns, and no matches.
