Conte began his musical career as a studio musician for Latin jazz music like Caldera. His live and touring career was crowned with success when he joined Madonna's touring band in the 1980s. To date, Conte has built an extremely successful career, including performing, composing and playing in Dancing with the Stars from ABC TV, among dozens or hundreds of other TV and film projects.
