Mariela Griffor, is a poet, editor, editor and diplomat. She is the author of four volumes of poetry, Exiliana, House, The Psychiatrist and most recently Declassified, and has had her poems and translations published in numerous literary journals and magazines, including National Poetry. International, Washington Square Magazine, Texas Poetry Magazine and Le Sabord's Arts d 'Éditions, in collections including Poetry of Michigan / Michigan in Poetry, by New Issues Press. Many of Griffor's poems have been translated into Italian, French, Chinese, Swedish and Spanish. She has been nominated for the Griffin Poetry Award, the Whiting Award and the PEN / Beyond Margins Award. She reached the final round and was selected for the 2017 National Translation Award for the Canto General by Pablo Neruda.
