Soon after, Belafsky took on the role of Crutchy in the Disney musical, Newsies. He continued to act during his teenage years, appearing on television shows such as The Wonder Years, Great Scott and Step By Step and the movie Wrestling Ernest Hemingway. Belafsky also voiced Kent Swanson in the 2006 video game series Dead Rising .
