Milko Djurovski is a former Macedonian professional soccer player and current manager of NK Veržej. He is considered one of the most talented Yugoslavian players of his generation. Djurovski made his debut at Red Star Belgrade, making his senior debut in 1979, at the age of 16. He spent seven seasons in total in their first team, winning two national championships and two national cups. In the summer of 1986, Djurovski made a surprising and controversial decision against the annoying Red Star rival Partizan. He remained at the Stadion JNA for four years, including an inactive season due to his compulsory military service. Some of his most memorable performances with Crno-beli include the 1989-1990 European Cup Championship against Groningen, which eventually saw him join the Dutch club in 1990. In his later years, Djurovski continued to play for a number of Slovenian clubs. Internationally, Djurovski represents both Yugoslavia and Macedonia.
