Edmundo Gómez Moreno, known by his stage name Raymix, is a Mexican musician and aerospace engineer. Nicknamed El Rey de la Electrocumbia, Raymix began his music career in the early 2010s, when he joined a triumphant project called Light & Wave alongside two other Mexican musicians. Their song "Feeling the City" was featured on Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance radio show. In 2013, Raymix was offered a job through a NASA educational internship program where he helped develop a satellite. Around 2015, Raymix became famous for the song "Oye Mujer", a song popular with tianguis, sonideros sellers and illegal music distributors. Raymix signed with Universal Music Latin Entertainment and in 2018 he released his debut album Oye Mujer. The same year, “Oye Mujer” was reissued as a single and was also remixed and released as a duet with Colombian singer Juanes. The song topped the Billboard Regional Mexican Airplay and Tropical Airplay charts.
