Roque Luis Santa Cruz Cantero is a Paraguayan football player who plays as a striker and captains both the Paraguay Club Olimpia and the Paraguay national team. He is the top scorer and has made more than 100 caps for the Paraguay national team, so he is considered one of the best in the country's history. Santa Cruz started his career with Olimpia, progressing through their youth system to the first team, where he debuted at the age of 15 in 1997. He ended his career with the club after scoring 13 goals in 24 appearances at Primera División, where Olimpia won the title of Primera División 1997, 1998 and 1999.
