Thomas Steven Wopat is an American actor and singer. He first rose to fame as Lucas K. "Luke" Duke in the action / comedy television series The Dukes of Hazzard. Since then, Wopat has worked regularly, most often on stage in musicals and supporting roles in television and film. He was a semi-regular guest on the 1990s comedy series Cybill, and he had a small role as US Marshal Gil Tatum in Django Unchained. Wopat also has a recurring role as Sheriff Jim Wilkins on the Longmire television series. In addition, Wopat recorded a number of country song and pop standard albums, marking a series of moderately successful singles in the 1980s and 1990s.
