Uhm Tae-woong is a South Korean actor. He started acting in 1998, but initially struggled to step out of the shadow of his sister, famous singer and actress Uhm Jung-hwa. After a few years playing minor roles and acting in a one-screen TV series, Uhm started to gain recognition after playing the villain in the romantic comedy Delightful Girl Choon-Hyang. In 2005, he made a breakthrough in critically acclaimed Resurrection, followed by another 2007 revenge film The Devil. Since then, he has starred in multiple roles in Film and television include Forever the Moment, Chaw, Cyrano Agency, Architecture 101 and The Man from the Equator.
