Wendi Richter is a retired American professional wrestler. She began her professional wrestling career at companies like the National Wrestling Alliance, where she teamed up with Joyce Grable, with whom she twice won the NWA Women's World Tag Team Championship. In the 1980s, she joined the World Wrestling Federation. She has hosted the WWF Women's Championship twice and was hostile to The Fabulous Moolah for the title. She also participated in a story with singer Cyndi Lauper titled "Rock 'n' Wrestling Connection". Richter, however, left the WWF after losing the championship in a controversial fashion. She then worked at the World Wrestling Council and the American Wrestling Association, where she held both women's titles from both companies.
