Will Cuppy
William Jacob Cuppy is an American humor and literary critic best known for his satirical books about nature and historical figures. Writing funny but realistic magazine articles is Cuppy's real talent. He achieved brief success in 1933 with an NBC comedy talk show with actress and gourmet chef Jeanne Owen, but with no success. His most famous work, a historical satire called The Decline and Fall of the Real People, was unfinished when he died. It was completed and published in 1950 by his friend Fred Feldkamp, who sifted through nearly 15,000 carefully designed note cards to print the book. Feldkamp also edited a second journal, a comic book journal titled How to Get January to December, which appeared in 1951
