Mike Enzi
Michael Bradley Enzi is an American politician and accountant, serving as US Senator from Wyoming until 2021. He is a member of the Republican Party. Raised in Thermopolis, Wyoming, Enzi attended George Washington University and the University of Denver. He developed his father's shoe store in Gillette, Wyoming, before being elected mayor in 1974. In the late 1970s, he worked for the US Department of the Interior. He has served as a state legislator in both the Wyoming House of Representatives and the Wyoming Senate. During the 80s and 90s he worked as an accountant and general manager in the energy sector. Enzi was elected to the US Senate in 1996 with 54% of the vote and re-elected in 2002 with 73% of the vote, in 2008 with 75% of the vote and in 2014 with 71% of the vote. During his tenure, he consistently ranked among the most conservative members of the Senate.
