His brothers are former soccer player Antonio and Aldo de Nigris. De Nigris first emerged in the second season of Big Brother Mexico in 2003, where he finished third in the competition. He then became a contender in the 2011 Multimedios Mitad y Mitad dating competition which involved a one-season process to find him a mate and hosted the show Pura Gente Bien on sister channel.
