Reporting primarily to the New York Times and National Geographic, she is particularly known for her work on gender and social issues in Saudi Arabia and the region. She is a member of the Rawiya Middle Eastern Women Photography Group. In 2019, she became a colleague of Catchlight and was elected `` Princess Noura University Excellence Award '' in the Art category. She also received an honorable mention for the Courageous Anja Niedringhaus in the photo papers. In 2020, she co-founded Ruwa Space, a platform that supports visual advertising. and providing education and counseling throughout the Middle East and North Africa.
