Bob Dwyer AM is a coach with the Australian Rugby Federation. He trained at the Sydney boys' high school and graduated in 1957, where he played during the school's 15th term, where he played alongside former Canterbury-Bankstown players Bulldogs and Sharks. Cronulla-Sutherland George Taylforth and St. George Evans winger George Evans George Dragons. He coached Sydney club Randwick to four times to win the Sydney Championship before becoming coach of the Australian national team. He coached the Australian team from 1982 to 1983 and again from 1988. He coached Australia to win the Rugby World Cup in 1991. Dwyer moved to Leicester Tigers after the game turned pro in 1996 and replaced Tony Russ. The Tigers succeeded immediately, reaching the Heineken Cup final in 1997 and winning the Pilkington Cup, but finishing fourth in the league. Dwyer's stern attitude towards the players resulted in them naming him "Barb Dwyer" and into a public verbal brawl with one of them, Austin Healey. The club's board has decided to replace Dwyer with former club captain Dean Richards.

Australia's Hall of Fame rugby coach, best known for guiding Randwick to four Shute Shield championships. He guided Australia to their first Rugby World Cup triumph in 1991.
