Miriam O'Callaghan is an Irish TV news host with RTÉ. O'Callaghan has hosted Prime Time since 1996 and her own summer talk show, Saturday Night with Miriam, from 2005. In the summer of 2009, she began appearing on a radio show, Miriam Meets ... , which was later replaced with a live Sunday show with Miriam. She was also the first woman to host The Late Late Show, she did so in the midst of a global pandemic when Ryan Tubridy was isolated from suspected symptoms of a deadly viral infection. After confirming that Tubridy was positive for COVID-19, O'Callaghan continued to take on the role.
