Reginald Joseph Mitchell CBE, FRAeS, è stato un progettista di aerei britannico che ha lavorato per la compagnia di aviazione di Southampton Supermarine dal 1920 al 1936. È ricordato soprattutto per la progettazione di idrovolanti da corsa come il Supermarine S.6B e il Supermarine Spitfire.
