Vince Martell
Vince Martell è meglio conosciuto come il chitarrista solista dei Vanilla Fudge. Martell è nato nel Bronx da genitori chitarristi e lo ha incoraggiato a suonare anche lui. Da adolescente, Martell si unì alla Marina, dove scoprì il suo talento come chitarrista. Nel 1963, Martell e la sua famiglia si trasferirono in Florida e presto si unirono a una band chiamata Ricky T & The Satans Three si esibirono nei club blues di Miami e nei negozi di gamberetti a Key West. Nel 1966 fonda il gruppo The Pigeons con l'organista Mark Stein, il bassista Tim Bogert e il batterista Joe Brennan. Dopo che Brennan è stato sostituito da Carmine Appice e un contratto discografico ha costretto la band a cambiare nome, la band è diventata Vanilla Fudge. Dopo che i Vanilla Fudge si sciolsero nel 1970, Martell continuò a esibirsi fino a quando i Vanilla Fudge si riunirono con un altro album nel 1984 chiamato Mystery.
