Robert Allen Griese is a former American football midfielder who won the 100% American title with the Purdue team before being included in the Miami Dolphins team of the American Rugby League in 1967. Griese a led the Dolphins to three straight Super Bowl appearances, including two Super Bowl Wins in VII and VIII. Griese was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame and Indiana Football Hall of Fame in 1984 and the Professional Football Hall of Fame in 1990. Then he worked as a television commentator, calling them NFL games for NBC Sports and college football for ESPN and ABC Sports. Griese is one of three-quarters of Purdue to win the Super Bowl.
